Withdraw from Semester
Students who have decided not to attend for the semester must cancel their classes before the first day of the semester to avoid having the classes be recorded on their transcript and being financially responsible. Students may either contact the Office of the Registrar or request cancellation online. Withdrawal from a semester does not affect a student's ability to enroll in a subsequent semester (admission to the university is not cancelled).

| Through 10th day of semester | Submit request to Office of the Registrar for complete withdrawal. No classes or grades transcripted. |
| 11th day — end of 2nd week following midterms | Submit request to Office of the Registrar for complete withdrawal. Dean's signature also required for law students. Classes and WU grades (withdrawn from university) transcripted. WU grades do not factor into GPA or affect academic standing, nor do they count toward 21-credit withdraw limit. |
| After end of 2nd week following midterm | Student must petition Academic Petitions Committee for late withdrawal through their academic deans office. Classes and WU grades (withdrawn from university) transcripted. WU grades do not factor into GPA or affect academic standing, nor do they count toward 21-credit withdraw limit. |
