Comprehensive Services
Comprehensive security management services:
- Coordinates University-wide security services including prevention/mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery
- Serves as the University’s security liaison and coordinates public safety issues with the Moscow Police Department
- Prepares, negotiates, and manages contracts and RFPs for externally contracted services in the area of security services
- Ensures coordination of planning, assessment, integration, communication, and training across all relevant components, offices, and departments of the university
- Serves as University liaison with external first responder agencies, including but not limited to Moscow Police, Fire, EMS, and the FBI
- Manages, analyzes, and establishes Clery Act and Drug-Free Workplace Act compliance, including, but not limited to, reports from campus security authorities, compliance publications, and timely reporting to the Department of Education
- Tracks security incident reports, coordinates and verifies relevant information with the Moscow Police Department and other appropriate agencies
- Investigates allegations of workplace violence
- Coordination of access control and surveillance systems
- Provides training to faculty, staff, and students in various areas of emergency management through workshops and full scale exercises
