Foot Protection
Wearing sandals, flip-flops, canvas tennis shoes or similar footwear in labs contribute to painful, debilitating injuries when accidents occur. Footwear should always cover as much of the foot as possible and be resistant to absorbing any chemical or infectious materials being handled. Like gloves, shoes protect against contamination only if they are matched to the specific hazard found in your lab.
