RFI Criteria

In order to ensure that the RFI process results in the kind of targeted change we need, the criteria to be used when creating proposals must:

1. Focus in one or more of the following areas from the University of Idaho 2005-2010 Strategic Action Plan with an emphasis where these four elements overlap:

1. Engaged teaching and learning
2. Cross-disciplinary scholarship
3. Creative outreach and engagement
4. Sustainable workplace

2. Be cost neutral, or preferably, net cost reducing and/or net revenue enhancing
3. Build on the strengths of the university and state
4. Increase our quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
