Campus Visit Options

  • Personalized Campus Visit

    Make a personal visit to campus, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours. In addition to a general campus tour, we invite you to meet with a representative from your department of interest, explore a variety of activities and programs at the Student Recreation Center, and meet with our Student Services staff to learn more about the many opportunities at The University of Idaho.


    Visiting on a weekday will give you the best experience possible, but we understand that schedules don't always line up. That's why we're now pleased to offer a condensed Saturday visit option on select dates. Learn more by clicking the link below.

  • 2014 Envision Idaho | October & November

    Event Dates: October 3, 2014 | November 8, 2014

    Envision Idaho is a special fall visit event for high school seniors, transfer students and parents who want an in-depth look at what it’s like to be a student at Idaho. You will spend your day touring campus and facilities; learning and touring on-campus living options; exploring research and hands-on learning programs; and meeting faculty, staff and students in your major of interest.

    You and your parents can also attend informative workshops about student activities, study abroad, financial aid, and other topics.

    Take advantage of the opportunity to explore the University of Idaho's STEM and Honor's programs at the November 8 event.

    We invite Hispanic/Latino high school seniors and their parents to come and complete an admission application, financial aid forms and learn more about the University of Idaho, as well as the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP). University of Idaho staff and alumni will answer questions you may have about pursuing a higher education. We look forward to meeting you!

    Sneak Peek is an exclusive event for high school sophomores and juniors and their parents. The special campus visit day in the spring offers you opportunities to tour and explore campus, check out our abundant and diverse on-campus housing options, learn about student activities and services, and meet faculty.

  • Group Visits
    We offer group visits for high schools, community colleges, and other organizations. Group visits may include a tour of campus, learning and living facilities, and the Student Recreation Center. University representatives will also be available to answer questions about campus life, student activities, the admissions process, and more.

  • Meet Your Campus Tour Guide

    Vandals REPS (Reaching Every Potential Student) are student ambassadors who lead campus tours and attend recruitment events both on and off campus for the University of Idaho.  As ambassadors these students have outstanding leadership skills, dedication to campus involvement, and a passion for the University of Idaho.  

    The Vandal REPS are knowledgeable of UI’s academic programs, history, services, and the physical campus in order to answer questions from prospective students and parents.
