The best thing about the University of Idaho:
The commitment to student success and community engagement is without equal at The University of Idaho. Students, faculty and staff all live, work, and play in an environment where they are both challenged and supported in the pursuit of their endeavors.

Favorite campus activity:
Cultural celebrations are wonderful here: from home football games, to the world-renowned Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival and Cinco de Mayo…all of it available right here in Moscow, Idaho!

Favorite local restaurant:
Bloom! Hands down! Fresh, locally-sourced fare, great prices, and a wonderful ambiance in the heart of historic downtown Moscow.

Favorite local activity:
My wife and three kids really enjoy the outdoor activities in the area, such as hiking near Moscow mountain, rafting in the Snake river, or biking in the trails around the region.

Advice for your students:
As you consider your transition to The University of Idaho, be sure to count on those who know you best such your family, friends, mentors, or school professionals. These individuals are here to help you along during this great time in your life!
