President Nellis requests your assistance with student recruiting | Feb. 16, 2010

Dear Vandal Friends and Alumni:

The University of Idaho is enjoying a remarkable year! During fall semester, we enjoyed record enrollment numbers, including the largest freshman class in our history and 66 National Merit Scholars on campus! Additionally, the Vandal football team had its best season in a decade and capped it off with a spectacular victory in the final few seconds of the Humanitarian Bowl in Boise. It's a great time to be a Vandal fan and enjoy this success!

In this financial climate, grassroots efforts like our student recruitment programs can have a great impact on the future success of the University. We're off to a great start, and the efforts of alumni volunteers do so much to enhance the effectiveness of our work. I'm writing today to invite you to get involved with our 2010 Vandal Student Recruitment efforts -- specifically with the process to convert student applications into enrolled students.

Thank you for your commitment to helping your University, the Alumni Office and the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment as a Vandal Recruiter.
