Information for Participants
Convocation is the official welcome and start to the academic year. Some elements of convocation resemble commencement (graduation) which marks the culmination of education at the University of Idaho.
North concourse access and seating is available, open seating, no tickets needed.

Faculty
There is no academic regalia requirement, audience participation only. Reserved floor seating will be available for University faculty and administration.
Staff
Staff are encourage to attend convocation as permitted by their supervisors.
Students
All students (and parents, if applicable) are invited to attend both the convocation ceremony and the barbecue that afternoon.
