To promote inclusiveness, enhance efficiency and facilitate decision-making, three groups work to fulfill the university's mission and achieve its goals as outlined in the strategic plan: the President’s Cabinet, President's Leadership Group and Provost’s Council. The first two groups are led by the president, and the latter is led by the provost.
The President’s Cabinet is primarily composed of the individuals who report directly to the president. This group meets regularly to discuss and make decisions that relate to the overall mission and vision of the institution. Led by the university president, the cabinet makes strategic decisions and plans for the future based on input from the various divisions that make up the university.
The President's Leadership Group meets monthly and is intended for the broad leadership of the university to become informed and have a venue to contribute to university-wide efforts, communication updates and calls to action. It may also be utilized as professional development on topics of broad interest and needs for currency and coordination.
