Ruthie Nellis Biography
Ruthie Nellis graduated from Montana State University in 1976 with a degree in earth sciences with a focus in geography. She met and married Duane while attending MSU.
She also received her master's degree in library and information management from Emporia State University in Kansas.
Ruthie has had a distinguished professional career centered on library and information management. She served as the project manager overseeing construction and development of a new university library at West Virginia University. She also was interim director of the West Virginia University Health Sciences Library during their time in Morgantown.
At Kansas State University, she worked on the university's national commercialization initiative as director of knowledge resources.
Duane and Ruthie have two sons, Jonathan and Jason.
