International Work Day 2006 for the Zeta Mu chapter at the University of Idaho was more of a work weekend. The Alumni involvement and enthusiasm blew me away. From the moment the first Alumni showed up to Zeta Mu Friday afternoon until the last of them left on Sunday around noon we were buying supplies, working, and improving our chapter house that has helped build the brotherhood. Members and Alumni worked together to improve the chapter that has given so much to all of us over the years. It was neat to hear the stories from "the good old days" and the ways the house has changed. For the most part I realized that Pikes are Pikes whether they are 20 or 55 and how much of a privilege it is to be a Pike. We are very thankful for all the support and participation from our Alumni and hope to continue building the relationship so that Zeta Mu can be a place for Idaho Pikes to remember and enjoy long after they have moved on.
