Registration FAQs

  • Who may attend the Women's Leadership Conference?
    Any faculty, staff member, or student at the University of Idaho or Washington State University, or local community member. Conference registration is limited to 200. Be sure to register early!
  • Is there a registration fee?
    Attendance is FREE for University of Idaho faculty, staff, and students. Non-UI attendees will be charged a nominal registration fee of $20.00.
  • Where will conference registration be located?
    The Conference registration desk will be in the foyer of the International Ballroom, located on the 2nd floor of the University of Idaho's Bruce M. Pitman Center (formerly the Student Union Building). The registration desk will open at 7:45 am on Wednesday, March 25, 2015.
  • When does the Conference officially start?
    The Conference begins with an opening address by our theme speaker, Jessica Bearman, on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 8:45 am.
  • Where will the Luncheon & Workshops be held?
    The workshops will be held in the Summit Conference Center function rooms located on the 4th floor of the Idaho Commons, and in the Whitewater and Clearwater Rooms, located on the ground floor of the Commons.

    The luncheon will be held in the International Ballroom on the second floor of the Bruce M. Pitman Center, formerly the Student Union Building. The welcome breakfast and closing event will also be held in the International Ballroom.
  • Can I just attend one session of the Conference?
  • I can no longer attend the Conference, but my colleague is available. What is the substitution policy?

    If you are unable to attend the Conference, you can transfer your registration to another person by emailing wlc@uidaho.edu by Wednesday, March 18, 2015.

  • I have some dietary restrictions/special needs, how do I inform the Conference planners?

    When you complete your online registration, there will be a field where you can enter specific information about any dietary restrictions or special needs.

  • I would like to reserve a hotel room in Moscow, close to where the Conference is taking place. Which hotel should I contact?

    Please visit the Conference's Parking & Lodging page for information on local area hotels.

  • Wait List
    Conference registration is limited to 200 attendees. If you register for the conference after the registration limit has been reached, you will be placed on a wait list and notified in the event of a cancellation.
