Greek - Purple Parking
I am living in a Greek house, how do I get a Purple permit?
Greek house president's are responsible for making in-house members eligible for parking permits. If you are living in a Greek house and need a parking permit, you must first give your student ID number to your house president so he/she can make you eligible. You will not be able to purchase a permit online or in the Parking Office until your president makes you eligible.
You may go talk to your president now and give them your ID number and tell them to make you eligible for parking, or you may download a Greek Parking Request form, fill it out and give it to your house president. The president can sign and give back to you so you can buy your permit at the Parking Office, or just give it to them and tell them to make you eligible; then you can buy your permit online or come to the Parking Office.
I have a Purple permit, where can I park?
Purple permits allow parking 24/7 in all Purple and Silver lots, as well as Red lot 50 (behind Human Resources) and the north half of Green lot 111 (off of Sweet Avenue). The Greek Parking Map highlights all lots/areas where Purple permits are valid.
Important Note: Blue lot 60 is no longer an overnight parking lot, Greek residents with a vehicle on campus need to purchase a Purple permit and park in any of the locations highlighted on the Greek Parking Map.
