Important Information for all Permit Customers:
- Accounts with any parking debt will be restricted from purchasing a permit until account balance is at $0; contact us to see if you have debt on your account and inform us when payment has been made so that the permit hold can be removed; online permit orders cannot be completed if the account has debt.
- Please note when purchasing your permit online that the default delivery method is 'Office Pickup', we recommend you confirm your mailing address and select 'Send by Mail'. This will save you time waiting in lines to pick up your permit.
- Permit ownership is non-transferrable; permits may be used in any vehicle that is transporting the permit owner. Under the permit holder's discretion, an individual who IS ELIGIBLE for the permit type may utilize that permit; however, the permit owner is responsible for all parking citations issued to that permit number. Using a permit that an individual is not eligible for may result in a $125 citation for Illegal Use.
- STUDENTS: Parking permits can NOT be posted to your student account; online transactions can only be completed using credit/debit, or electronic check for payment.
- STUDENTS: If you live in a Greek house, your house president must make you eligible to purchase a Purple permit. Contact your house president and give them your student ID number so that they can make you eligible to purchase a permit.
- Permits that can be purchased online include annual Gold, Red, Blue, Purple, Silver, and Green permits.
- Annual Disability permits may be purchased online if an individual purchased a Disability permit in the previous year and the permanent Disability permit has not expired.
- Annual Retiree permits may be ordered online if a Retiree permit was ordered for the previous year and the individual remains eligible for Emeriti status, as defined in the Faculty Staff Handbook (1565.E-3.a.) If it is the first year that an individual is ordering a Retiree permit, the Parking Office needs to be informed of the Retiree status by the Human Resources department prior to being able to order the permit online.
- Blue parking lot 60 on Sweet Avenue is no longer an overnight parking lot, students who will be living on campus need to purchase a residential parking permit (Silver - University Housing, Purple - Greek, Green - Family Housing/Elmwood Apartments) in order to park a vehicle overnight on campus.
