Summer Break Parking: Permits are required in Gold and Green lots, as well as all specially marked spaces during the summer break. Payment is required at all meters and pay station parking areas. Permits are not required in Red, Blue, Purple, or Silver lots. Overnight parking is allowed in Purple and Silver lots (off-street lots only). Parking permits for the 2012-13 academic year will be available for purchase online only beginning Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Permits can be purchased at the Parking Office beginning Tuesday, July 31, 2012.
Important Information:
- Accounts with any parking debt will be restricted from purchasing a permit until account balance is at $0; contact us to see if you have debt on your account and inform us when payment has been made so that the permit hold can be removed; online permit orders cannot be completed if the account has debt
- president must make you eligible to purchase a Purple permit. Contact your house president and give them your student ID number so that they can make you eligible to purchase a permit.
- 2012-13 parking permits are required in all Gold and Green lots beginning Thursday, August 16
- 2012-13 parking permits are required in all Red and Blue lots beginning the first day of fall semester, Monday, August 20
- 2012-13 parking permits are required in all Silver and Purple lots beginning Tuesday, September 4
- FACULTY/STAFF: Planning to payroll deduct your parking permit AND purchase more than one permit? Only one permit may be purchased online using payroll deduction, if you want two permits to be payroll deducted the second permit must be purchased at the Parking Office in order to avoid an error with your payroll deductions. If you'd like to purchase both permits online, you may payroll deduct one of them and then complete a second transaction paying via credit card for the second permit.
- STUDENTS: Parking permits can NOT be posted to your student account; online transactions can only be completed using credit/debit, or electronic check for payment
- STUDENTS: If you are rushing a Greek house, or returning to live in a Greek house, your house
- If you will be purchasing more than one permit you must purchase each individual permit separately; completing a separate transaction for each permit.
- Please note when purchasing your permit online that the default delivery method is 'Office Pickup', we recommend you confirm your mailing address and select 'Send by Mail'. This will save you time waiting in lines to pick up your permit.
- Permit ownership is non-transferrable; permits may be used in any vehicle that is transporting the permit owner. Under the permit holder's discretion, an individual who IS ELIGIBLE for the permit type may utilize that permit; however, the permit owner is responsible for all parking citations issued to that permit number. Using a permit that an individual is not eligible for may result in a $125 citation for Illegal Use.
