A protocol form must be submitted in electronic format to the IACUC (
iacuc@uidaho.edu) for review for all projects utilizing live and dead vertebrate animals. The surgery form must be completed and submitted with any protocol in which a surgical procedure is being performed. A separate surgery form must be completed for each surgical procedure. Both forms are in the same file.
Protocols in pain category C as described in the protocol form instructions may be submitted at any time for designated member review which requires 1-2 weeks from submission. Protocols in pain categories D or E require full committee review. In order for all committee members to have adequate time to review the materials prior to meeting the following submission deadlines will be strictly enforced.
