VIEW Business Plan Competition

The University of Idaho Vandal Innovation and Enterprise Works – or VIEW – program will host its annual Business Plan Competition on Saturday, April 30, from 8:45 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the J.A. Albertson Building. This entrepreneurial program allows students to take an idea or even a developed product, learn how to properly create a business plan, set the plan into motion, and have a successful business venture. VIEW provides interdisciplinary students with the know-how to compete in today’s ever-growing competitive business market. Student innovations today will impact our future by helping to catapult Idaho into the forefront of the technology race. Teams will compete in five tracks: innovative ventures, small business, social entrepreneurship, sustainability or the internal University of Idaho revenue enhancement track. Up to $40,000 is available in awards. The public portion of the event begins at 8:45 a.m.; it wraps up with an awards ceremony from 3-4 p.m. For more information, visit www.uidaho.edu/view.
