Vandaleers Concert : Global Voices

The University of Idaho Vandaleer Concert Choir and University Chorus present “Global Voices: Music –The Universal Language.” The performance on Sunday, Oct. 25, at 3 p.m., is in the Administration Building, University Auditorium, 851 Campus Dr. in Moscow.

“Henry Wadsworth Longfellow said, ‘Music is the universal language of mankind,’ “ says Michael Murphy, director of choral activities at the Lionel Hampton School of Music. "We will celebrate music that transcends boundaries and bonds people who are thousands of miles apart.”

Offering a musical smorgasbord of international proportions, the choirs will perform music from Brazil, Cameroon, China, England, France, Germany, Nigeria and Slovenia.
