Monday, March 31
VITA – Free Low Income Tax Preparation

VITA is a free tax preparation service for low-income individuals. This includes students, but is open to anybody throughout the community that could benefit from the service. VITA is a service created by the IRS and organized through University of Idaho College of Law. To participate, bring necessary tax documents, such as W-2 and 1099 forms, as well as a valid social security card.

Iron Mom Competition

Vandal moms and their students compete in fun challenges to see which mom is the top Iron Mom. The event costs $10 per mother/student team.

Tradition Keeper Tour

Join the members of the Student Alumni Relations Board as they lead students and Vandal moms on a campus tour to 10 campus tradition locations. Bring the Tradition Keepers Book and become a Traditions Keeper. Books can be purchased for $15 at the VandalStore and lapel pins will be awarded to those who complete 15 traditions.

5th Annual CALS Moms’ Weekend Gala

5-7 p.m.

Enjoy local cheeses, wine parings, Vandal Brand sausage and more at the 5th Annual CALS Mom’s Weekend Gala. There will be silent, balloon and destination auctions happening throughout the event and door prizes will be awarded. Entertainment will include live piano music and a performance and demonstration by the UI Ballroom Dance Team. The UI Dairy Club and College of Agricultural and Life Science Ambassadors will host the 5th Annual Wine and Cheese Tasting this year. A variety of beverages will be available for patrons of all ages. Tickets are available online or at the door and cost $20 per person and $35 for couples.
