U-Idaho Celebrates Student Employee of the Year Award

The 16th Annual Student Employee of the Year (SEOY) Ceremony celebrated 35 nominees from all over campus and the local community.
Sarah Hulse, a professional, self-directing and confident employee now supervising other student employees from the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences earned the 2012 Student Employee of the Year. Her good communication, teamwork and decision-making skills, in addition to dedication to volunteer and course work, helped her earn the award. A $500 award and a framed certificate helped recognize Hulse, as well as a $50 award for being the state of Idaho’s student employee of the year.
The first runner-up, Nylah Holt, is a team member of the departmental financial unit. Holt was awarded $250 and a framed certificate.
Brady McNall, working for the City of Moscow, earned second runner-up. He was awarded $100 and a framed certificate for his multifaceted service to the City of Moscow and the University of Idaho.
Included in the ceremony was a proclamation by Mayor Nancy Chaney, declaring April 9-13 of 2012 the official Student Employee Recognition Week in Moscow.
