Two Academic Advisers Earn National Awards

Two University of Idaho academic advisers have been awarded the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) Outstanding adviser honor. Kristi Overfelt, adviser in CLASS, won in the New Adviser category for her work with general studies and undecided students. Larry Makus, interim associate dean in CALS, won in the Faculty Adviser category for his work with students in the department of agricultural economics and rural sociology.
