College of Natural Resources colleagues’ collaborative article “Distribution of American Pikas in a Low-Elevation Lava Landscape: Conservation Implications from the Range Periphery” was featured in the October issue of the Journal of Mammalogy. It is also available online at the BioOne website: www.bioone.org. Contributing authors include CNR doctoral candidate Tom Rodhouse, ecologist with the National Park Service; alumna Mackenzie Shardlow, CNR biologist working with the Park Service; alumna Lisa Garrett, National Park Service monitoring program manager; and Kathi Irvine, CNR adjunct professor of statistics at Montana State University.
