Registration Open for Writing Winning Grants Seminar

Registration is now open for the Writing Winning Grants Seminar sponsored by the University of Idaho Office of Research and Economic Development and the Washington State University Office of Research.

The seminar will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 2 at the University Inn Best Western in Moscow.

Presenter Peg AtKisson, an associate member of Grant Writers’ Seminars and Workshops LLC, will emphasize idea development, how to write for reviewers, and tips and strategies for successful funding. The seminar’s content is applicable to preparing grant applications in any discipline for any federal or state agency or private foundation.

The workshop also will include a chance for tenured or tenure-track faculty to apply for a 26-week mentoring program to develop a proposal with AtKisson.

Cost is $95, including lunch and handouts, plus an $80 required workbook.
