Process Updates for Camp Insurance

The UI Camp Insurance Program provided through the Department of Risk Management is changing the process of premium payment for coverage.

Instead of individual units submitting payments directly to American Income Life, Risk Management will now handle the collection of insurance premiums from the units for each camp via IDG in Banner.

Going forward, units will still be required to submit requests for insurance using the same request form found on our website. Please include the budget number here. Units will also need to submit a Completed Activity Report with the actual number of participants. Risk Management will then use this information to complete the IDG for the appropriate cost of the camp insurance.

If you fail to submit a CAR by 30 days, your unit will be charged for the full price of the camp insurance on your original request. Failure to accurately report attendance will not be accepted.

As always, please submit any claims or incidents from the camp in a timely manner.
