PechaKucha Night MOSCOW
Thursday, March 1 2012 at 8:00 PM to 10:30 AM
Location: The Prichard Art Gallery
The College of Art & Architecture's Integrative Experience is hosting PechaKucha Night Moscow vol. 1. Thursday, March 1 at the Prichard Art Gallery in Downtown Moscow.
Drawing its name from the Japanese term for the sound of “chit chat”, PechaKucha is a presentation format that is based on a simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. It’s a format that makes presentations concise, and keeps things moving at a rapid pace… just under 7 minutes each.
This night will feature presenters with various backgrounds, ranging from students, professionals, grandmothers, community superheros, dynamic duos,… you name it. This is an event that levels the playing field for sharing by all. Presentations are short but informative and inspiring. On a PechaKucha night the community comes together to share, connect and& build from ideas presented. Following presentations, there will be time to network, discuss and venture out into downtown Moscow for further dialog.
There is no theme for presentations during this event. Feel free to propose a presentation on any topic or inspiration– just make sure you follow the 20 x 20 format. For examples of international presentations visit:
