Palouse Unit of the American Fisheries Society Chapter Takes Top Honors

More than 30 students from the University of Idaho’s Palouse Unit of the American Fisheries Society attended the annual meeting of the Idaho Chapter of the American Fisheries Society 1-4 March 2011 in Boise.
Fisheries students Kelly Stockton, master’s candidate, won the best student poster presentation; and Amy Long, doctoral student, won the Susan B. Martin Scholarship.
Students from the University of Idaho, Idaho State University, the College of Idaho, Boise State University, and Mackay High School gave presentations, helped with meeting logistics and hosted the student professional mixer. More than 300 people attended the meeting.
