Olsson Receives John Hurt Fisher Prize

Kurt Olsson, emeritus professor of English, received the John Hurt Fisher Prize from the John Gower Society, which is the society’s highest honor. They honored Olsson for his lifelong work on Gower, capped by his article “Composing the King, 1390-91: Gower’s Ricardian Rhetoric,” in the most recent volume of Studies in the Age of Chaucer. The award came at the 45th International Conference on Medieval Studies in Kalamazoo.
