Wednesday, April 24 2013

The Leadership Academy, sponsored by the Office of the Provost and coordinated by the vice provost for academic affairs, seeks nominations and applications for the fifth cohort for the 2014 academic year.

The program’s mission is to provide ongoing opportunities that integrate the development of knowledge and skills in leadership with a university-based project, building our institutional leadership capacity for today and for the future.

The program focuses on national, institutional and personal leadership knowledge and development. Over the course of the year, participants will complete an intensive program of exploration, including sessions on leadership development, university system knowledge, and a university-based project.

All university faculty and staff are eligible to participate in the Leadership Academy and are invited to submit nominations and applications. Employees outside of the Moscow area are able to be actively involved in the program via technology. Members of underrepresented groups and women are particularly encouraged to apply. Nominations will be accepted until Friday, May 17, 2013. Applications must be completed by Friday, May 24, 2013. Visit for more information, to nominate a colleague, or to submit an application online.
