In Memoriam: Rob Miller

Rob Miller, University of Idaho Industrial Hygienist, died on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013 following complications from a vehicle accident a few days earlier.
Since being hired in January 2006, Rob contributed greatly to the Environmental Health and Safety Office and to the wider University community. He brought superior technical skills to his industrial hygiene work and had a strong team spirit. Rob was recognized with his colleagues on the 2006 Tower Fire Alarm Team for outstanding teamwork at the University of Idaho.
Rob was very active and loved the outdoors; when not spending time with his two girls, Sarah and Emma, he was an avid golfer and fisherman. Rob was well known for being a lifelong Vandal fan! He was also an alum (’94 BS Biology and ’08 MS Professional – Technical and Technology Education ).
Rob was truly an Idaho gem and well liked by his colleagues. He will be greatly missed by the entire Vandal community.
A Life Celebration will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Orofino Golf Course located off Highway 12 at 3430 Debertin Drive, Orofino, ID 83544. Wear Vandal gear if you want to.
