IMAPS Student Chapter Earns First Place

The University of Idaho
IMAPS (International Microelectronics And Packaging Society) student chapter received a first place award for the Student Booth Competition at the 44th International Symposium held in Long Beach, California.

Dalia ElGamel represented U-Idaho by presenting their research projects together with projects from Idaho State University and Brigham Young University-Idaho. The award was based on the quality of research presented, knowledge, and enthusiasm of the students, awareness of key issues, society activities on campus, such as their seminar series, and the support and presence of their faculty adviser,
Dr. Aicha Elshabini.
This is the chapter’s second first place finish in the last three years and comes with a monetary award.
