IGS Director Roy Breckenridge Retiring

Roy Breckenridge, director of the Idaho Geological Survey (IGS) and Idaho State Geologist, is retiring from the University of Idaho after 35 years of service, including with the former Idaho Bureau of Mines and Geology.
His publications and work at IGS include field mapping and research of the environmental and Quaternary Period geology of Idaho, specifically glaciated areas with focus on the Ice Age floods in the Idaho Panhandle.
