Human Communities Retreat

The Human Communities Research Consortium invites applications from faculty for the third annual summer retreat. For summer 2012 we will have two short retreat sessions. Each session will begin with a brief on-campus orientation on Tuesday followed by three days (Wednesday-Friday) at Twin Larch (located minutes from campus). Ideally, participants will attend both sessions as the second session will be a continuation of the first, although we may be able to make accommodations depending on availability. As with previous years, the summer retreat will be followed with a workshop series during the 2012-13 academic year, likely with five meetings each semester designed to cultivate conversation and continued work on papers developed in the summer retreat. We ask that summer participants make a commitment to participate in the workshop series as well.

The dates for the summer retreat are:
June 5-8
August 7-10

The brief application for participating in the 2012 Summer Retreat is due Tuesday, May 1, sent electronically to Dr. Traci Craig (tcraig@uidaho.edu). The application should only take a few minutes to complete if you have a project in mind.
