Christine Moffitt Receives Outstanding Faculty Award for Environmental Science Program Collaboration, Mentorship

Christine Moffitt, professor of fisheries resources and assistant leader of the Idaho Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit, was honored by the Environment Science Program with a 2010-2011 Outstanding Faculty Award.
Moffitt was recognized because of her commitment to environmental science student success and interdisciplinary scholarship. She has mentored graduate students when serving as either their major professor or as part of a committee. She also has mentored summer interns in the Research Experiences for Undergraduates program and environmental science undergraduates completing their senior thesis projects.
Moffitt has been an active member of the environmental science faculty for more than a decade, serving on the core faculty committee and providing consistent support for interdisciplinary initiatives.
