Becoming a Friendship Family to an International Student
Monday, April 22 2013
The International Programs office is offering an international opportunity this summer for those who would like to ratchet up their cultural IQ this summer by becoming a Friendship Family to an international student. This non-residential friendship offers area families the opportunity to learn about places they may not have had a chance to visit and allows students the opportunity to learn about the area and culture. Most families spend an afternoon or evening with their student 2-3 times a month.
To find out more about this opportunity, there will be an informational session on Friday April 26, 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. at the International Programs Conference Room in LLC#3. Bring a lunch if you would like, we will provide bottled water and participation forms. Questions? Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
