2011 Poultry Workshop Planned Wednesdays at Caldwell

Location: Canyon County Extension Office, 501 Main St., Caldwell

This class is aimed at providing people considering getting chickens or "newer" chicken owners with practical information about raising and managing poultry. The three-week class will be held Wednesdays, beginning Feb. 9. Topics covered include breeds, housing, nutrition, health and disease and food safety.

This class is sponsored by University of Idaho Extension. Instructors will include University of Idaho Extension educators as well as local poultry producers.

Classes will be held at the Canyon County Extension Office located at 501 Main Street in Caldwell.
