The University of Idaho Retirees Association has selected its 2009 Idaho Treasure Award recipients. Matt and Karen Telin along with Richard J. Naskali have been selected for their significant achievements in service and leadership to the university in their retirement years. They will be honored on during an awards luncheon. The event is part of the 30th anniversary celebrating UIRA service and contributions to the university. Faculty-Guest Artist Recital: Reid and Feingold

Womens Works Holiday Art Fair

The holiday art fair will feature 50 women artists from around the Pacific Northwest region selling jewelry, handmade cards and prints, beadwork, fiber art, pottery, stained glass, candles, soaps, hand-blown glass, handmade paper journals, quilts and much more. There also will be food booths offering international dishes, homemade desserts and baked goods, live instrumental holiday music provided by local musicians and raffles of artist-donated items throughout the fair. Admission to this art fair is by donation and proceeds will benefit the Betsy Thomas Gender Equity Scholarship and Women's Center programming.
