Meet Olympic Gold Medalist Kristin Armstrong

Mark your daybook for a free, upcoming public appearance in Boise by Kristin Armstrong, University of Idaho alumna and Olympic Gold Medalist.

Kristin ArmstrongTo honor her accomplishments, the University of Idaho will be hosting a meet and greet with Armstrong. Vandal friends, family, and all Armstrong supporters are invited to visit the Vandal tent in front of the VandalStore at the Capital City Public Market in downtown Boise, 821 W. Idaho Street.

From 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 8 Armstrong will talk with fans and autograph colorful new posters showing her adorn in Vandal gear, with the London landscape behind her.

The posters will be given for free as the university’s gift to those who support this great athlete. Those who attend may also bring their personal sports memorabilia to be signed.

Joe Vandal will be ringing the opening bell at 9 a.m. that morning to kick off the state of The Market for the day. This is a great way to learn more about U-Idaho, its role in the community as well as celebrate one of our nation’s best athletes.
