Job Opportunity: Team Cleaning Specialist II, Events and Support Services

Under the general direction of the facility director and Custodial Services supervisor/foreperson, team cleaning specialists maintain clean and orderly facilities for students, faculty, staff and visitors. Team cleaning specialists secure the building; respond to special cleaning requests and schedule cleaning and maintenance activities as part of a self-directed team. Team cleaning specialists are expected to identify cleaning needs for special events and to work special events in any of our unit facilities. Team cleaning specialists are expected to perform each of the following jobs on a rotating basis: detail specialist, vacuum specialist, restroom specialist and utility specialist. Our directive is to maintain a safe, functioning and aesthetically pleasing environment for the many patrons of our facility. Team cleaning specialists are classified as an essential position that will be called upon in the event of an emergency and/or university closure. Read more and apply here.
