Job Opportunity: Administrative Financial Specialist, Accounts Payable

Under direction of the manager of accounts payable, collecting and interpreting a variety of data for the purpose of auditing and reviewing a variety of documents for compliance with established state, federal, Internal Revenue Service and university policies and procedures. Review vendor documents for tax preparations and maintain the University Vendor Database for individuals and vendors. Monitoring, reconciling and maintaining records, correspondence and files; determining proper compliance with established policies and taking appropriate corrective actions and preforming related tasks. Assisting the accounts payable manager with updating or implementation of new technologies, development of strategic initiatives and apply the initiatives to the accounts payable processes in order to meet departmental goals.
