Heroin and Opioid Awareness Seminar March 22

The UI WWAMI Medical Education Program and Gritman Medical Center is hosting a community forum presented by the United States Attorney's Office designed to highlight a unique, realistic perspective on the impact of prescription drug and opioid abuse. In addition, DEA agents will present cases that they have prosecuted federally in Idaho involving physicians intentionally diverting prescription drugs for unlawful purposes. The talk is at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in the Bruce M. Pitman Center's Vandal Ballroom.
