Meet Our People

The purpose of the Native American Student Association (NASA) at the University of Idaho is to aid, enhance, and enrich the educational experience of Native Americans.

Objectives

The basic objective of NASA University of Idaho, in pursuant of the expressed purpose, is as follows:

1. To promote the value of a college education
2. To develop and foster leadership among Native Americans
3. To promote and preserve the culture and heritage of and among Native Americans
4. To serve as a liaison between different Native American communities and the University of Idaho
5. To serve the recreational and social needs of Native American students
