Disease prevention – should focus on diverse groups – specifically Native American and Hispanic, given their presence in Idaho. Again, could be integrated in curriculum, result in scholarship/grants, create outreach to these ethnic groups – this focus should create/further develop campus culture that would attract students/staff/faculty from these diverse groups
Experiential education requirements
Create culture of support for athletics – successful teams engage students and community – great “free” exposure to UI (e.g. full page pic in Sports Illustrated)
