Terri Muse joined the College of Law in 2012 as the Director of Development. In 2014 she became the Assistant Dean for External Affairs. Prior to joining the University she worked for the Idaho State Bar where she served as the Staff Attorney for the Volunteer Lawyers Program from 2000-2004; Associate Bar Counsel 2004-2005; and as Deputy Executive Director from 2005 to 2010. Terri practiced family law with the Boise firm Bauer & French from 1998-2000. Before relocating to Idaho in 1995, she worked for a Southern California firm doing professional malpractice defense.
Terri was born and raised in Southern California. She and her family relocated to Idaho in 1995. Terri earned her B.S. degree in Psychology and M.S. in Community Psychology from California State University Long Beach. She was the director of a community based job training program for low-income high school and young adults prior to attending law school. Terri lives in Boise with her husband Mike Larson. Her two sons are full time college students.
Development and Alumni Relations at the College of Law
Terri’s office handles alumni and donor relations for the College of Law. Her primary responsibilities include major gift fundraising for the College, management of the annual giving function, coordination of reunion and other alumni relations events and activities, editor of the annual Idaho Law magazine, stewardship and donor relations with our past and current donors, staff support and coordination for the College of Law Advisory Council, and external relations with alumni and other law related organizations. Terri visits with nearly 150 alumni on an annual basis traveling around Idaho, the region and country. She supports student organizations such as the Idaho Law Symposium organizing team with fundraising efforts. She works with Eric White, Development Assistant, to ensure the College maintains effective alumni and donor relations.
