B.S., Concordia College (Minnesota)
Deputy Prosecutor, Nez Perce County, Idaho
"Being a victim of abuse, I grew up with a feeling that the judicial system had let me down on so many occasions. Because of this, I wanted a career that would allow me to help victims of abuse. My undergraduate degree was just a stepping-stone to achieving my goal of becoming a lawyer, and Idaho was a great place to do that.
"I loved the atmosphere of the College. The professors took an interest in me and genuinely cared about my success. They helped convince me I was headed in the right direction. During my second year, I began an internship with the Latah County Prosecutor’s Office, which proved to me that all the hard work was worthwhile. This experience helped me earn my current position with the Nez Perce County Prosecutor’s Office. In addition to my regular caseload, I specialize in domestic violence cases. I feel that I am where I should be, and the people at the University of Idaho College of Law helped me get here."
