Judge Dale graduated from the College of Idaho with honors in 1979 and received her Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1982. While here she served as Editor in Chief of the Idaho Law Review. From 1982 to 1988, Judge Dale was an associate and shareholder at the Boise law firm of Moffatt Thomas Barret & Blanton. She was then a commercial and business lawyer in the Boise law firm of Hall, Farley, Oberrecht & Blanton where she practiced law since 1988 and served as President of the firm before being appointed to the District Court in November 2007.
Judge Dale has been recognized for her commitment to law and justice, including pro bono service and an accomplished record on the federal judiciary. The College of Law also benefits from her service as a mentor in the 1L professionalism program and as a member emerita of the Law Advisory Council.
