The Law Library subscribes to a variety of digital resources. Descriptions and, where appropriate, access procedures are described below.

AILA Link (American Immigration Lawyers Association )
Fully searchable immigration law library. Includes the full text of such resources as Kurzban's Immigration Law Sourcebook, Immigration Law Today, and others. Also includes primary source materials such as the Immigration and Nationality Act, Code of Federal Regulations, BIA decisions, federal court decisions, and immigration forms.
Access is restricted to University of Idaho law students and faculty.

Antitrust & Trade Resource Center (BNA)
Federal, state, and international coverage of fair business competition; relevant primary law.

Bankruptcy Law Resource Center (BNA)
Coverage of developments in federal and state bankruptcy law; relevant primary law.

Bloomberg BNA
Current awareness for legal topics including antitrust, bankruptcy, telecommunications, environment, labor & employment, professional conduct, intellectual property, securities, tax, etc. U.S. Law Week.

Columbia International Affairs Online (CIAO)
Digital library of research, analysis & scholarship in international affairs and related fields. Includes working papers, policy briefs, scholarly journal articles, e-books and videos.

Congress.gov
Search the full text of Congressional bills, public laws, the Congressional Record, House and Senate committee reports, treaties, and other material. Dates of coverage vary by document type.

Criminal Law Reporter (BNA)
Current awareness source on developments, trends, and emerging patterns in criminal law.

Current Index to Legal Periodicals (CILP/SmartCILP)
Weekly list of subjects and table of contents from over 650 newly published law reviews & journals. Utilize SmartCILP to set up a profile for personalized email delivery of individual titles or selected topics.

EBSCO Databases
Extensive multidisciplinary set of research databases covering topics such agriculture, science, art, business, communication, information science, news, and the social sciences. Sources covered include scholarly journals, government documents, newspapers, and magazines. Many items are full-text but some are abstract only.

Fastcase’s libraries include primary law from all 50 states, as well as deep federal coverage, including specialty courts. The Fastcase collection includes cases, statutes, regulations, court rules and constitutions. FDsys
A service of the U.S. Government Publishing Office. Provides free electronic access to official publications of the federal government. Includes congressional bills, public laws, Congressional Record, U.S. Code, Code of Federal Regulations, Federal Register, Presidential materials, and many other resources. Coverage of most materials starting in 1995.

Gale Directory of Publications and Broadcast Media (Gale Directory Library)

HeinOnline
Retrospective collection of over 2,300 full-text law reviews. Also includes complete coverage of the Federal Register, a Legal Classics library, U.S. Statues at Large, and U.S. Treaties & Agreements, and much more.

Internet Law Resource Center (BNA)

Labor & Employment Law Resource Center (BNA)

Law Library Microform Consortium (LLMC)
Covers mostly historical and some current materials. Search U.S. federal materials covering the judicial, legislative, executive branches and administrative agencies; state case law; and some foreign jurisdictions.

LawMemo, Inc.
Provides labor and employment law updates from all jurisdictions. Topics include immunity, procedural issues, professional licensing, and ERISA/employee benefits. To receive alerts and search the database you must create a personal account. Access will be delayed until request is processed.

News and guidance on attorney conduct and legal ethics.

Legal Information Institute (LII)
Free database maintained by the Cornell University Law School. Find articles on specific legal topics; search the U.S. Code, Constitution, Federal Rules of Procedure; federal and state court opinions; and a guide to basic legal citation.

LegalTrac
Legal periodicals index providing citations, abstracts, and some full-text articles from law journals, legal newspapers, and other specialty publications. Coverage from 1980 to current.

LexisNexis
Comprehensive coverage of all aspects of U.S. law, including primary and secondary sources.

LexisNexis Academic
A subset of the full Lexis-Nexis database, limited to use on the University of Idaho ISP range. This version of the LexisNexis database is available to the public, but requires a credit card for access. Coverage varies depending on account purchased, from basic case law and statutes to full access to the LexisNexis database.

The Making of Modern Law: Trials 1600 - 1926
A full-text collection of thousands of trial documents and unofficial public accounts of the most celebrated and fascinating trials, including the most famous Anglo-American trials. Includes trials such as Dred Scott, Leopold and Loeb, and Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.

The Making of Modern Law: Supreme Court Records and Briefs 1832 - 1978
Comprehensive online collection of records and briefs from cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. Includes transcripts, applications for review, motions, petitions, supplements, and other official papers.

National Faculty Directory (Gale Directory Library)
Contains current names, departmental affiliations, institutional addresses, and phone numbers of members of teaching faculties at thousands of American colleges and universities and more than 200 Canadian institutions. Click on Advanced to select relevant directory.

Newspaper Source Plus
Provides selected full text and abstracts for over 100 U.S. and international newspapers. Coverage varies by newspaper.

Oxford Public International Law comprised of Oxford Reports on International Law, Max Planck Encyclopedia of Public International Law, Oxford Scholarly Authorities on International Law, and Oxford Historical Treaties contain full-text editions of reference works, documents and treatises published by Oxford University Press. The Max Planck Encyclopedia of Public International Law contains peer-reviewed articles on every aspect of public international law.

Securities Regulation & Law Report (BNA)
Published weekly. Database contains all issues published since February 2, 1996. Covers developments in the regulation of securities and futures trading and accounting within the Securities and Exchange Commission, Futures Trading Commission, industry, courts, and Congress.

U.S. Supreme Court Records & Briefs Digital Archive
Contains nearly 11 million pages of records and briefs brought before the U.S. Supreme Court from 1832 - 1978. Search by keyword, date, docket number, or U.S. Reports citation.
