Michael Greenlee joined the College of Law Library in 2002, after graduating from Indiana University-Bloomington with a dual degree in Law and Library Science.
From 2002 to 2011, Michael served as Public Services librarian and as Head of Public Services at the College of Law. In June 2011, he was promoted to the position of Associate Law Librarian for the UI Boise Law program. As Associate Law Librarian, Michael is responsible for the management of the Idaho State Law Library collection, currently housed at the University of Idaho Boise Center.
Michael’s research interests include Idaho legal research and history, international human rights, freedom of speech, prisoner’s rights, and intellectual freedom. He is an active member of several library associations including the American Association of Law Libraries, the Idaho Library Association, the Western Pacific Association of Law Libraries, and Beta Phi Mu, the International Library and Information Science Honor Society. Michael is also trained as a guardian ad litem/CASA. Outside the law library, he enjoys practicing tai chi and yoga.
