Jeffrey A. Dodge received a B.A. in political science from the University of California, San Diego and a J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law. While in Law School, he served as president of the Student Bar Association and managing editor of the Family Court Review. Before serving as an Associate Dean at the University of Idaho College of Law, he worked at Hofstra Law School as the Assistant Dean for Global Initiatives & Multicultural Affairs, Assistant Dean for Administration & Operations and the Director of Alumni Relations. Dean Dodge has experience overseeing various law school areas, including Student Affairs, Alumni Relations, Communications, Physical Plant, Continuing Legal Education, and International Programs departments. He has started and run international study abroad and externship programs around the world, including first time ABA accredited programs in Cuba and Ecuador. Dean Dodge maintains an active license to practice law in New York and California.
Dean Dodge currently serves as the Associate Dean of Students & Administration. In this capacity, he works with the Dean, Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs, and Associate Dean of the Boise Program to advance the College of Law. He oversees the Career Development, Admissions, Academic Support, and Administrative & Fiscal Operations directors and serves a point person for student affairs related matters.
