Earl Blower was born in 1952. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Utah State University in 1976 and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Utah College of Law in 1979. Blower was admitted to the Idaho Bar in 1979 and enjoyed a general civil litigation practice in Idaho Falls and Honolulu until 1991 when he accepted an appointment as a law magistrate in Idaho’s Seventh Judicial District. After twenty-one years on the bench, Blower retired to Senior Judge status in 2011.
While taking a leave of absence from his Senior Judge duties, Blower will be teaching Wills & Trusts, Community Property, Family Law and Appropriate Dispute Resolution at the University of Idaho College of Law during the 2012-2013 academic year.
Blower has been married for thirty-eight years and is the father of two adult children.
