Enrollment and Degree Verification

Enrollment Verifications

The University of Idaho has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to verify enrollment for all students.  Students may obtain enrollment verification certificates (free of charge, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week) from the Clearinghouse. Agencies requesting verifications of student enrollment should contact the NSC at:

National Student Clearinghouse
Web: www.studentclearinghouse.org
Phone: (703) 742-4200
Fax: (703) 742-4239
Email: service@studentclearinghouse.org
Mail: National Student Clearinghouse
13454 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 300
Herndon, VA 20171

To print an official enrollment certificate to submit to your lender, insurance company, scholarship agency, etc., log on to the Web Interface (www.uidaho.edu/registration) and select Enrollment Verification from the Student Information/Registration Menu. Official enrollment certificates will automatically show your full enrollment history. Adobe Acrobat must be installed on your computer to complete the web process.

Students who need good-student insurance discount letters must submit the request to the Dean's Office.  Normal processing for these letters is approximately three business days.  To prevent delays, please be sure and sign your request and include all the pertinent information (name and address of the company, standing and GPA request, and student ID number).

Degree Verifications

National Student Clearinghouse has also been authorized by the University of Idaho to provide degree verifications. NSC contact information is located above.

Letters of Standing

Students who need letters of standing for study abroad or LLM programs, or when applying to visit or transfer to another law school, must submit the request to the Dean's Office. Normal processing for these letters is approximately three business days. To prevent delays, please be sure and sign your request and include all the pertinent information (name and address of the program and/or law school, standing and/or GPA request, and student ID number).
