Danielle Hunsaker has wide experience in both federal and state civil litigation. She began her career serving as a law clerk for two federal appellate courts and one federal district court, as well as an extern for the Honorable John Stegner; she has a unique understanding of the judicial process at both the trial and appellate levels and of how judicial decisions are made. Following her clerkships, Ms. Hunsaker worked as a litigation associate at Stoel Rives LLP where she represented business clients as both plaintiffs and defendants. She is now at Larkins Vacura LLP, a civil litigation boutique firm.
Ms. Hunsaker has experience in a variety of legal areas, including complex commercial litigation, shareholder derivative litigation, business torts, contracts, receivership, environmental law, administrative law, patent and trademark disputes, and electronic surveillance and privacy rights. Ms. Hunsaker is a past Chair of the Oregon State Bar Federal Practice & Procedure Committee and a current member of the Oregon State Bar Judicial Administration Committee. She is also an adjunct professor at Lewis & Clark Law School, teaching civil practice and procedure. She is devoted to improving the judicial process through both a commitment to excellence and volunteer and mentoring opportunities.
